We wanted to design the ultimate spod rod.
We pulled in all our heavy spodding consultants for their feedback. What we learnt is the variable weights and sizes of spods being used makes it challenging to develop a universal rod. We went away from carp rod design and looked at old beach casting techniques, based on slow, progressive action rods to project heavy weights and delicate baits long distances.

The result is the Cobra Deliverance, a dedicated spod rod, designed specifically for the job. Built to cast heavy payload spods, well in excess of 100 yards
