Infinity DF Special
We have taken the tried and trusted Magnum Taper profile, used for many years by top European carp anglers and given Danny Fairbrass the freedom to design his own specification and finish.
The result is a highly distinctive but subtle look using a low glare silk matt finish and selected medium profile, high diameter SiC guides. With a butt guide of 50mm the following intermediates of 38mm and 32mm they are designed to ‘funnel’ the line travel towards the tip. A set up that is preferred by big hitters out there.

Delivering Danny’s own look too is the handle combination. Starting with a Fuji reel seat and stainless steel trim rings the handle maintains an elegant feel thanks to the profiled NS grip that continues to the butt. Flared at the end for better gripping this stylised treatment is finished off with a stainless steel butt cap.

Infinity® Advanced Carp Rod

The core blank design of all Infinity rods is recognized as unbeatable but when the combined knowledge and talent of Danny Fairbrass and Damian Clarke from Korda contributes to their improvement you have use ask how good are they now?
For optimum casting ability the distinct profile and balance of the Magnum Taper is unsurpassed. Utilising higher grade, low resin carbons within the top section simply enhances the balance and tip speed to another level. Their loading action compresses from the top into a higher diameter butt section that provides bags of cushion and power. When subjected to large casting loads this blank shape also presents excellent torque resistance enhancing the casting accuracy to a level that is respected by many of the UK's top carp anglers.

Totally contrasting in shape and action the Slim Powers are the epitome of rod beauty. Also exploiting the latest low-resin carbons within the top section these sleek rods betray gravity when partnered with a reel. Their power progressive curve loads seamlessly along the rod length but still delivers a crisp tip recovery whilst providing the level of forgiveness that is a must with braided mainlines. As required, furnishings are minimal but the best.

The Magnum Taper features a unique, contoured Daiwa reel seat that is matt finished. The Slim Power uses a Fuji DNPS faced off with metal trim rings. Each model is also armed with Fuji SiC guides and a low profile butt grip finished off with a sunburst etched metal butt cap.

Danny Fairbrass and Damian Clarke from KORDA consulted closely with the Daiwa design team during the development of the new Infinity Advanced Carp rods.

Infinity® Advanced Spod

Utilising the proven profile and blank backbone of a 'big' Infinity rod this Spod model is simply awesome. With all the tip loading you want to get a cast started the Infinity Spod compresses to extremely high levels but releases with incredible power, keeping the alignment of the blank throughout the action.
What you get is a frightening level of casting energy that has seen the rods as the chosen weapon at Carpfest spodding championship. Furnished with SiC guides and finished to compliment the Infinity Advanced range we don't even think it needs a test curve.

The feel of any Amorphous rod is simply unmistakable. That positive and precise backbone combined with a sweet and true action is thanks to the manufacturing phenomenon of 24 strand Amorphous braid. Yes it has returned and it's better than ever.
The external mesh of intertwined fibre on the Whisker carbon blank delivers a balance of ‘torque control’ and near immaculate ‘power progression’. What you get is one of the most responsive weapons you will ever lay hands on.

Added to that the unerring accuracy and depth of ‘guts’ lets you apply seriously high levels of compression and loading. Great for big hitters.

Two options have been designed at 12’ 2.75lb, featuring the choice of a 40mm Fuji butt guide or the brand new Fuji 50mm version. There is also a 13’ 3.5lb model available featuring the new Fuji 50mm butt guide.

After the amazing success of the Infinity DF's, Danny Fairbrass wasn't finished designing. Hail the new Longbow DF 's with a slim and sleek profile they offer a highly desirable appearance.
Carrying the now characteristic toned down look and profiled handle the Longbow’s still produce the goods. Starting at 2.75lb this popular test curve will hit 120yds (plus in some hands) and thanks to the slim blank will load sweetly along its length with plenty of power down deep. Stepping up in test curve are the meatier 3.0lb and 3.5lb models. Hitting bigger distances and putting out heavier loads these will undoubtedly suit the more common styles of today’s carp scene with the 3.5lb model reach 140 yards, accurately. Finishing of the range is a ‘floater special’. The lighter 2.25lb action and incredible slimness is a dream to handle for mobile top of the water fishing. If the Longbow changed the face of history then get ready for a new chapter.

'Slim power' is the best way to describe the new Theory range of carp rods.
The blend of high performance carbons and 3K cloth produce a crisp and highly responsive feel with stacks of torque resistance built in. This lets you load the rod well into its action but it will recover evenly ensuring accuracy.

The progressive taper is maintained thanks to the seamless overcap joint and the balance enhanced by the use of lighter framed single leg SiC guides.

Answering the demand by bigger hitters are three new ‘LD’ models all featuring a 50mm butt guide. Available at 12’ 2.75lb and two 12’ models at 3lb and 3.5lb.

And for the ultimate travelling companion there is a 6
section 12’ 2.75lb model. So now you can find out if those summer holiday carp are as big as the locals claim!

Thanks to the reinforcing value of integrated carbon mesh the new Mission X rods have power and control in heaps. Their mid loading action delivers the best of both worlds by offering a wide range of 'cushion' too.
But it is the refined finish and distinct look that will appeal to most. The matt finished blank and soft touch shrink tube handle fits the bill nicely. Furnished with quality aluminium oxide guides, the butt sees a 40mm with action enhancing single leg patterns through to the tip.

This trio of Black Widow carp rods offer power and distance with good fish playing properties.
The action allows for high casting power and surprising accuracy. However, when connected to a fish, each model will load further into the rod when required, offering a good cushion for hook holds and ‘under the tip’ lunges.

All three models feature subtle, low profile soft touch grips and a half hood FPS reel seat. And whether using braid or monofil the ultra low friction guides will handle either.
